...And Even More to See!

Old Time Shops!

There are several recreated shops where you can see displays of the merchandise and equipment of yesterday.  Pictured here are the saddle, harness, and print shops.  You can see the many different kinds of saddles and harnesses used on horses.  In the print shop you can see old manual printing presses and also later lin-o-type machines demonstrated.

There are also two other shops you can visit.  The old drug store displays many of the old medicines and household supplies from the past.  In the general store you can see general merchandise from the past, and also buy some Camp Creek souvenirs to help you remember the show!

Miniature Railroad!

The Camp Creek Threshers are also proud to be the home of the Camp Creek Railroaders.  There is an extensive track on the grounds where you can see miniature trains running throughout the show.  Many of the engines are real steam locomotives, as well as miniature diesels.  These little engines are the result of many hours, even years of work by their owners who construct them.  They are a real sight to see chugging down the track!

Railroad Steam Crane!

The Camp Creek Threshers is one of the few places you can see an operational railroad steam crane in operation.  Railroads used these cranes on construction projects and also in emergency uses for cleaning up train wrecks.  If you're lucky you may even have an opportunity to climb on board and examine the intricate workings of this unique machine close up!
